Gunjo --- is our new family member!  Steve and Tetsuya were looking for a puppy over a month.  We finally found the puppy who we love with.  Gunjo was born on March 15, 2005 in Sherburn, MN.  When we met Gunjo, he was only 6 weeks old.  His mom had 2 puppies.  Gunjo was very very tiny and the breeder called him the "little boy."  He is the most affectionate puppy! Gunjo (GOON-joe) means "ultramarine blue" in Japanese.  You can think about the color of cobalt blue or Lapis. The characters on the left, that is how Gunjo spells in Japanese.  It's a very poetic way to express blue in Japanese.  We picked this name from his hair color.  His hair is more likely gray, but it categorizes blue in the dog world.
